About Us

Clearwater Lodges was established by Herb and Anne Vinnicombe in 1955 and has been passed down through generations of their family. The current hosts, Andre and Aynne de Beer, continue the tradition of exceptional hospitality while focusing on sustainability and conservation of the beautiful surroundings. The lodge is nestled among towering pine trees and offers a serene atmosphere, making it an ideal retreat for families, couples, and nature lovers alike.

Accommodation & Services

Clearwater Lodges features 14 individual rustic housekeeping lodges, providing comfortable accommodations that blend seamlessly with the natural landscape. Each lodge is fully furnished with:

Separate bedrooms with twin beds
Combination living-dining room with a fireplace
Well-equipped kitchens to prepare your own meals
Bathroom with shower
Private porches for tranquil relaxation

Single lodges can accommodate 2 to 4 guests, while double lodges can comfortably house 4 to 6 guests. Linen and towels are provided, and cleaning services are available throughout your stay.

Single Lodges: Rates starting at $1,127 per week
Double Lodges: Rates starting at $1,480 per week

We recommend checking availability in advance, especially for peak summer months. A deposit is required for reservation confirmation.
